  • Yes, we offer rush (1 business day turn-around) for C-41 and BW film development and scanning. Rush is available for an additional 100%.

  • We offer both Jpeg and 8bit Tiff file formats. Our standard medium size scans are up to 3000x2000 pixels (8x10 print size) which is usually the size of “large” scans offered by other labs.

High res scans are available and offer up to 6000x4000 pixels (12x18 print size) or 4 times the resolution for an additional $5.

For maximum color depth, we also offer 16bit High Res scans for an additional $10.

  • We provide two options for color grading of your scans. While all labs perform color correction during the scanning process, some may choose to automate this step to save time and rely on the scanner's software for automatic white balancing, similar to how a digital camera operates.

At our lab, we prioritize quality over speed and our trained scanner operators manually make small color and density adjustments during the scanning process to achieve a neutral color balance and accurate skin tones. This basic color treatment is included in all scans.

For more demanding projects, such as those by professional photographers, we offer an advanced color grading treatment. After the basic color correction is applied, we further refine the images in Photoshop, using various tools like Curves and Levels to deliver a clean and balanced final product.

  • Currently, scans are help for a minimum 60 days. We will delete files on occasion when we start running out of storage space.

  • We use Noritsu HS-1800, LS-1100, Hasselblad Imacon, and Creo EverSmart Supreme film scanners to provide highest quality scans.
